Aragats (Արագած) - 4090 m

Panorama view from the top of Mount Aragats. With an altitude of 4090 m it's the highest peak in Armenia.

Northern pre-summit may be accessed rather easily, however conquering northern true summit requires 10-minute-climb along the friable ridge with abysses on both sides, so no fear of hights and firm movements are vital.

The weather here is extremely changeable. Blue sky as far as the eye can see changed into severe thunderstorm that disappeared leaving blue sky again. Everything lasted 2-3 hours.
